Oh Mother!

Ok.. ok... So I'm falling behind in my entries...

But i just have to write about last Saturday...

After the Friday night partying, I was just too sleepy to wake up early the next day... I could hear the activities going on in my house outside my bedroom door... Aaahhh the glory of privacy! I LOVE my door... My door is the only thing that separates my personal space and life from the outside world! All Hail to my door!

Anyway... after coming in and out of my sleep mode, suddenly there was a knock on the door!:

BANG!BANG!BANG!
me: WHnmmmp? (muffled voice saying wat?)
Voice: Trippin! Trippin! The landlord's son is here for his cheques!
me: Ya! Ya! (grumble! sebok jer... why didn't he call first? he always calls first!)
Scribble! Scribble! Scribble! Tear! Tear! Tear!

I opened my door and passed the cheques to my Aunt...

Aaahhhhh... now i can really sleep... or so i thought?

10mins later....

BANG!BANG!BANG!
Mother: Trippin! Trippin!
me: Ya?
Mother: Open the door...

Grrrr...

*creakkkkk*

me: Ya?
Mother: The landlord said that you are short of one month's rent!
me: WHAT? cannot be...
Voice in background (my aunt): Cuba check your chequebook...
MOther: Ya! You are short of a month's rent...February's rent!
me: But... it cannot be... this is April... he would have said something by March? I gave him til March!
Mother: Exactly! So... that means.... *giggle* APRIL'S FOOL!!!
me: Aaaaaarghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! you woke me up for this!
MOther: LOL! I've been planning this for days!

My mom... can be quite a cheeky lady sometimes... she pulled one on my sister too which nearly made my sis's heart drop like a ton of bricks! Damnnnn! I can't believe she outwitted me ! But it wasn't a fair play... she had a headstart given my sleepy-mind-working-on-extra-low-reserve-mode state.
