What goes down, must come up...

Phewww! Sorry for the outburst people... but that's the main reason ihave a blog i suppose, to vent out my frustration in a healthier(?) way...

Didn't get to sleep much til much much later... i heard the rain pouring down, but i didnt realise that it was that HEAVY!!! Anyway, i got up in a less than cheery mood, but decided to not make matters worse and affect others.

Got ready for my dance class at 10am. Hoping to get out by 10.30am... but no such luck - couldnt find my fav dance top and my house keys. Finally got on the move and picked up my fellow dance mates. My mood improved somewhat being around these cheerful ladies. Even received a prezzie from one of them. She's such a sweetheart. No blood ties, but has always been like a real sister to me. Can't even remember the last time we had any kind of disagreement. It's that special kinda friendship that makes friends, the family you choose. Eventho we hardly spend time together, we know we are there for eachother when it really counts.

Had breakfast at the nearby kopitiam. Tried sumthin new - this chicken sorta sandwich thingy. It was good, but erghhhhh... not a good thing to eat when you are planning on dancing and jumping around.

The class was fun, as always... managed to squeeze in some practise before and after class. Had a drink again after class...
Went home for a bit and was dying with hunger by 4pm. Decided to go to TGIF for food... FEED ME! Had the chix alfredo pasta - yummms!

Was happy that the day wasn't as bad as i thot it would be... was expecting a repeat of yesterday!!! Thank goodness for variety!

Came home and decided to get online...
Received an email from HIM!... He apologised! ... I feel so much better now. I appreciate the apology and hope he feels better soon. I understand that life at times can get really difficult and we can really hurt innocent people around us. I won't be holding this against him, he's taken a lot of crap from me too before.

Salsa me ere, salsa me der

It's salsa time again people... tomorrow~
Every Friday and Saturday afternoons for the past 3 months, i go thru the same scenario wit ma homies... there will be me yapping away bout cutting my salsa class on Saturday and them telling me that i will end up going and enjoying myself tremendously!!!
I don't know why i torture myself like this every week... i feel so pressured to dance this addictive dance... dance it right... the mambo, the cucaracha, the hook, the suzy q, the cuban break, the right turn...etc...etc.... and my latest favorite, a tribute to our very own- the Roti Canai move!
It's such a pleasure to be moving and spinning but i get into such a stressed out mode before every single class... it's definitely not the teacher, she's the best kind you will ever find in this part of the nation, continenet, world even, i kid you not! I guess maybe thats why... she's so good and patient that one feels a need toperform it perfectly...
But this Saturday won't be just any ordinary Salsa day, i'll be getting a double dose of salsa tomorrow. Salsa class in the afternoon and Salsa studio party at night. Brrrrr! I am in jitters already. The wait... The anticipation... The unexpected movesssss... will i be able to execute em fairly well or fall flat on my face... will i be walking on air? or will i be wishing the ground would just open up and swallow me.... Oye salseros y salseras... Mire me bailo! baila! Baila! Baila!

Of Cultured Suckers or Suckered?

Aahhh... A ya yaiii... Caramba! Mama Mia!
A few days back while i was minding my own bizz and snoring (and drooling...slurrrp!ptoooi!) away on a hot afternoon in the lounge area of my home, suddenly, jeng!jeng!jeng!... Mother Dearest rushed in, all out of breath, as if she was being chased by Mr.Speedy Gonzales himself! In my groggyNess... i looked up and said,"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" ...yes i know,i have a gift of speech & eloquency... it's a natural trait mind you! And in her response, she rambled sumthin bout Italian men outside the gate ??????? Huh?????????? Now that reallyyyyyyy perked me up! Was she talkin bout the Domino's or Pizza Hut's delivery boys? Cause Mama! I gotta set you straight ... they may be Italiano Pizzaro, but the Italian men who founded dem Pizzas ,do not come with the order of one! I know I had ordered sum of em a few years back with Santa... is this some sort of a late-delivery-cause-mail-2-Santa-got-los- sumwer-in-the-South-Pole-wen-it's-actually-North-Pole?... So, like a curious cat, i stretched and moseyed my way outside to see wat da commotion is all about!
TRUE ENUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were 2 Italian men in a car outside the gate. Mamma Mia! Not exactly wat i ordered, but i suppose, since that was a few years back, it explains them being older than wat i had requested for.... HA!HA!HA!
Finally... i got the story straight... Mr.Italianos, who are from Naples, are down here on business. They sell handmade Italian art pieces. They are leaving the country that nite and had a few pieces left which they wanted to get rid of bcoz bringing them back to Italy would mean having to pay the taxes again.... and it just ain't worth it y'll. SIGH! I suppose my mail is stil lost sumwer there in South Pole! Or perhaps... it's a sign that i should behave this year or no presents from Santa Baby?
Incase anyone is interested, YES! between the sweet promises of love and visits to the South of Italy... we were suckered into buying the last few pieces of their Silver and Murano handmade art pieces... so... Errrrr... anyone interested in Italian Art pieces? For Sale? Name your price?
